rtop shows what this machine, Rakumux’s own processes and every running session’s processes use now: CPU, memory and network. It lives in the drawer on the right, as a tab beside the Feed. Nothing is recorded.

In Rakumux

Press t in Rakumux mode (or Settings → rtop) to show the drawer on rtop with the keys; t again hides it. The band at its top names both tabs, ≡ Feed and ▥ rtop: f and t switch between them, and a click on a name shows that tab. rtop reads about every second, only while its tab is on screen. At the top, a line for the machine: CPU across every CPU, memory used of total, and bytes in and out a second. Then a row each for this window, the server, your other windows and Rakumux’s other programs (its local API, the account service, CLI calls), and then each session, with its app and folder, its processes as a tree under it when it runs more than one. Total stays at the bottom. A server too old to report what it uses says so; restart it with S.

On rakumux.com

Signed in, the drawer on the right of the web app has the same two tabs: ≡ Feed and ▥ rtop. rtop shows each of your online machines (or the one the machine switcher in the header chose): the machine’s CPU, memory and network, Rakumux’s own programs, and each session in its list, with Total at the bottom. Click a session to open it. It reads every 2 seconds while it shows. Your machines send what they use only while someone has rtop open there, and stop within about 20 seconds of it closing. They send numbers only: never process names, commands, arguments, paths or process ids, and never a private session. rakumux.com keeps only each machine’s latest figures, for minutes. A machine whose Rakumux doesn’t send them says Update Rakumux there to see it here.
